Is Campbell Set For Gunners Return

Speculation is mounting in the British press that former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell could be set for an emotional return to the Emirates stadium, custom bobblehead. The former Tottenham, Portsmouth and England defender played his last game for the Gunners in 2006 before a move to Portsmouth,The Fine Art Of Archery Release And Aiming, customize bobblehead. He spent three years on the South coast with the Fratton Park outfit before making a surprise move to ambitious Notts County earlier this season, personalized bobble heads.

Campbells time at Notts County,,, under the stewardship of his former national team manager Sven Goran Eriksson, personalized bobbleheads, amounted to just one game. After which Campbell felt the more direct approach of teams in the lower leagues were not to his taste, personalized bobblehead, certainly not after a career spent in the rarefied atmosphere of the Premier League. Campbell quit the club and has since been training with Arsenal to keep himself fit while the legal ramifications of his departure from Notts County have been sorted.

Campbell at the time stated that it was his desire to resolve his issues with Notts County as expediently as possible to earn himself the chance of moving back into the top flight. While the legal issues remained unresolved however, personalized bobblehead, Campbell found himself in limbo, customized bobbleheads, unable to sign for another club and all he could do during this period was keep himself fit with some of his former team mates from the Emirates.

When Campbells contract situation was resolved in late 2009,custom bobblehead, there was immediate speculation that Hull City would be interested in bringing him to the KC Stadium. However there has been no follow up to that initial interest and it is thought Campbell would baulk at having to relocate his family up North and also that Hull would struggle to match the former England defenders wage demands.

In December 2009 however there was increasing speculation,Steven Jackson More Credit, customize bobblehead, given the defensive crisis at Manchester United, that Sir Alex Ferguson would make a move to bring the player in on a short term deal,Outsource Bookkeeping Services, custom bobbleheads, although this was subsequently denied by the Manchester United manager. Once again Campbells career seemed to be hanging in the balance.

Which makes this morning developments, custom bobbleheads, where Campbell has been stating on ESPN that he would welcome a return to Arsenal and reports in the press suggesting that Arsene Wenger may offer his former captain a short term deal,.,How To Adjust Your Technique For A Smoother Powder Cat Skiing Experience, all the more puzzling. Wengers lack of depth seems to be in attack so offering Campbell a deal makes little sense, especially with a fully fit Philippe Senderos at the club and hardly used this season. One must therefore conclude that Wenger can only have been impressed with how Campbell performed during his training sessions with the club.

So if Campbell does sign it will certainly be a break from tradition for Wenger who usually only signs players below a certain age and as much as it adds depth to Arsenal defensively, personalized bobbleheads, it is also a damning indictment of how far Philippe Senderos has fallen in the eyes of the Arsenal manager.

So while Campbell may be coming into Arsenal, custom bobblehead, Senderos it seems must be heading in the opposite direction.
